Artist bio: Changez is a distinguished poet and painter from Islamabad, Pakistan. Educated in Pakistan, England, and the United States, he holds an MFA in Creative Writing and an MSc in Journalism from Columbia University, as well as an honorary Doctorate in the Arts from Trinity College, Hartford, in recognition of his lifelong contributions to literature and art.

Sultan’s career spans both cultural leadership and creative practice. He served as Director General of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts and has exhibited in more than 55 solo shows across Pakistan, Europe, India, and the Middle East. His work reflects a life shaped by global experiences, blending poetry and painting into a practice of profound depth and resonance.
